A little about my yoga journey …..
For me, yoga is more than just something I enjoy. It has become my entire life. Yoga goes far beyond the physical postures on the mat. If you allow it to, this powerful practice will dramatically shift your life and bring you to a place of love and harmony. It has an incredible ability to transform and awaken.
My Yoga Story
I discovered yoga in 2007. I had just returned to Vancouver after two years in Thailand and wanted to continue on my spiritual path.
The gift of yoga was given to me at just the right time.
I instantly fell in love with the way this ancient practice could strengthen, heal and transform one’s body, mind and soul. The profound sense of healing, strength and peace that one could experience on the mat was addictive and I traveled to Nicaragua to train with Meghan Currie and Mark Laham.
I completed the 200 hour teacher training program and became a certified instructor in 2012.
For me, yoga is more than just something I enjoy. It is my entire life. Yoga goes far beyond the physical postures on the mat and I strive to lead my students into a space of personal inquiry, devotion and love. I focus on encouraging my students to trust, let go and surrender to the flow of life both on and off the mat.
Eclectic world music, candlelight (in evening classes) and readings from spiritual teachings are often found in my classes and I strive to create a unique and moving experience of self-discovery for my students.
